Frequently Asked Questions

Can I leave my child and collect them after their tuition session?

Yes, you can. All our tutors are enhanced DBS checked, and we have non-tutoring staff positioned between the hall and the café to supervise your child if they want to purchase a drink or snack.

Can we have two or more children tutored at the same time?

Absolutely. While we recommend 1-to-1 tuition for optimal learning, we are happy to accommodate if you would like your child to be tutored alongside a sibling or friend.

How long do I have to commit to?

The simple answer is, for as long as you want to.

Within the first 14 days, you are free to stop tuition without providing a notice period. After the initial two-week period, all we require is 4-weeks written notice to end tuition.

Is there parking available?

There are 10 parking spaces immediately outside The Pavilion, and 18 parking spaces along Blomfield Drive, sat alongside Havenstoke Park.

Will I get feedback on how well my child is doing?

Our tutors create detailed reports after each lesson, which are monitored by our central teaching team to ensure good progress. We're always happy to provide feedback upon request.

Additionally, we offer optional assessments for students to complete at home, giving us a deeper insight into their academic performance. This data will be analysed by our central teaching team to help guide future lessons and feedback reports.

Do you have arrangements for students with AEN/SEND?

Yes, we do. If your child has any additional educational needs, we will arrange an introductory meeting with our centre manager (a qualified and experienced teacher), you, and your child.

During this meeting, we’ll create a tailored plan to ensure your child receives the support they need to achieve their full potential.

Do you supply learning utensils and notepads?

Yes, we provide all the paper, pens, and pencils needed for tuition.

However, if your child is attending maths tuition, they will need to bring their own calculator, compass, ruler, and protractor.
